A Signature Approach to Firmer, More Defined Skin

FirmaLift™ is a personalised skin-firming treatment at YT Medical for patients concerned about reduced firmness, mild tissue laxity and changes in facial definition. Rather than approaching facial ageing by simply adding volume, the treatment focuses on the quality and support of the existing tissue, with the aim of creating a fresher and more naturally defined appearance.

Ageing affects the face at several levels. Collagen and elastin gradually change, skin becomes less resilient and deeper tissues can lose some of their previous support. These changes are particularly noticeable through areas such as the lower face, jawline and neck, although the pattern and degree of laxity differ considerably between patients. FirmaLift™ therefore begins with assessment of the individual rather than applying the same treatment plan to every face.

What Can FirmaLift™ Help With?

FirmaLift™ may be considered for selected patients concerned about mild to moderate skin laxity, reduced facial definition, declining firmness and age-related changes in tissue quality. Treatment may be particularly relevant where the patient would like a tightening approach but does not require — or does not wish to pursue — surgical lifting.

The treatment is not designed to completely reposition significantly descended facial tissues or remove large amounts of excess skin. Where laxity is more advanced, a non-surgical procedure may only provide a limited degree of improvement and this will be discussed honestly during consultation.

Treatment Planned Around Your Anatomy

Before treatment, the face and relevant treatment areas are assessed to determine where tightening is likely to be beneficial and whether another concern such as volume loss, skin quality or localised tissue distribution is contributing to the appearance.

FirmaLift™ is not intended to make every face look sharper or more angular. Some patients require improvement in firmness through one particular area, while others may benefit from a broader approach to the lower face and neck. Treatment parameters are therefore selected according to anatomy, skin quality and the degree of change being sought.

Where another treatment such as HIFU, RF Microneedling, EndoFibre Lift or regenerative biostimulation would be more appropriate, these options can be compared as part of the consultation.

What Should I Expect?

The treatment experience and immediate skin response depend on the treatment area and protocol selected. Temporary warmth, redness, tenderness or mild swelling may occur, with specific preparation and aftercare explained before treatment begins.

Skin-tightening procedures generally produce their most meaningful changes progressively rather than creating an instant surgical-style lift. Tissue response and collagen remodelling continue over the weeks and months following treatment, and the eventual degree of improvement varies according to age, baseline laxity, skin quality and individual biology.

No non-surgical tightening procedure can permanently stop the ageing process. Future maintenance may therefore be considered according to how the tissues change over time, rather than automatically repeating treatment at fixed intervals.
