EndoFibre Lift
Minimally Invasive Skin Tightening From Within
EndoFibre Lift is a minimally invasive laser treatment designed for selected patients experiencing skin laxity, reduced firmness or localised areas where improved definition is desired. Unlike surface laser treatments, EndoFibre uses a very fine optical fibre introduced beneath the skin to deliver controlled laser energy directly within the treatment area.
The EndoFibre system used within aesthetic practice operates at a 1470nm wavelength, selected for its interaction with water within the tissue. Controlled thermal energy is used with the aim of producing tissue contraction and stimulating longer-term collagen remodelling. Depending on the treatment plan and area being addressed, the technology may also be used where small areas of localised fat contribute to reduced facial definition.
What Can EndoFibre Lift Treat?
EndoFibre Lift may be considered for selected concerns involving skin laxity and contour across areas such as the lower face, jawline and neck, with other areas assessed individually. It can be particularly relevant for patients who want a stronger tissue-tightening approach than a surface treatment but are not seeking conventional surgical lifting.
The treatment is not a replacement for a surgical facelift and will not produce the same degree of change where there is significant skin excess or advanced tissue descent. Suitability therefore depends heavily on the patient’s anatomy, degree of laxity, skin quality and expectations.
What Does Treatment Involve?
After the treatment area has been carefully assessed and planned, a very fine optical fibre is passed beneath the skin through small entry points. Laser energy is delivered in a controlled manner within the tissue according to the area and clinical objective.
Because treatment occurs beneath the skin, temporary swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising or changes in sensation may occur during recovery. The exact aftercare and expected downtime will be explained before treatment, together with any specific risks relevant to the area being treated.
When Will I See Results?
Some tissue contraction may be noticeable earlier in the treatment process, but the regenerative aspect develops more gradually as collagen remodelling occurs over the following weeks and months. The final degree of improvement varies between patients and depends on baseline skin quality, treatment area, age and individual biological response.
EndoFibre Lift should therefore be viewed as a progressive tightening and contouring treatment, not an instant substitute for surgery. Where another procedure is likely to provide a more appropriate result, this will be discussed during consultation.
EndoFibre Within a Wider Treatment Plan
For some patients, EndoFibre may be sufficient as a standalone treatment. For others, facial ageing may involve a combination of laxity, volume change and declining skin quality, meaning a staged approach may be more appropriate. Regenerative treatments, skin-quality procedures or carefully selected injectables may sometimes be considered separately where they address a different concern.
The purpose of consultation is to determine which elements genuinely require treatment rather than combining procedures unnecessarily.
